DescriptionTempera over gesso on roughly hand adzed pine panel with hutch-shaped top and added moldings for frame. The central figure is placed between four smaller images of the Guadalupe, each the same and withour narrative incidents being depicted. Busts of Juan Diego, Bishop Zumarraga and a Franciscan are painted at top center, above the principal Guadalupe. The style of drawing is of the most crabbed and sketchy and although there is a small series of a half dozen more or less similar in mannerisms, (such as A9.1954.15 R, of Saint Cristopher) no location of santero or working dates are yet known. The predominent color is a pure scarlet, possibly cochineal.Artist unrecorded
