DescriptionPortable 5 piece handpainted wooden baby cradle with a rectangular box-like carrier for baby. Exterior framework consists of 2 saw-horse-like structures connected with a separate horizontal H shaped cross-bar. The baby carrier hangs above the ground. The rectangular carrier includes a separate baser floor covered with a thin textile-striped fabric in yellow, tan, green, and blue. The woodwork is smooth, rounded and hand-painted in distinct horizontal bands of orange, green, black, tan, and pink. Each band is painted with a dominant underlying color and overpainted with a contrasting speckled color. A repeated diamond-shaped painted motif covers all except the bottom of the 3 rungs on the carrier.
