DescriptionMora type with small head, cf. C.W. Mora crucifix with large wooden terminal of loin cloth for same type of head and rib detail. Thorax adn ribs carved in clean cut wedge form-4 ribs on spear wound (right side), and five on left- simply grooved in wood. Feet realistically carved as the arches on under sides- upper view in usual Mora "bear paw" form with toes almost the same length. Loincloth painted in plain yellow with black borders, no central motif of design, no side terminals. Around the neck was a braided cotton rope, made in the same technique of braiding as old time braiding buckskin 1 ariats but of course on a smaller scale.Artist not recorded
