This necklace was featured in a past exhibition at the Museum of International Folk Art titled "Recycled Reseen: Folk Art from the Global Scrapheap" (1996-97).The necklace contains 16 round dented silver brads of varying sizes separated by very small round silver brads. The loop clasp is attached to the siver brads by 17 copper brads on one side and 18 on the other side. Hanging from the necklace are five silver spoons, 4 regular and one soup, with the handles broken off and bent around the necklace. The larger soup spoon in the middle has an image of the virgin of Guadalupe with red and gold stars, as well as lots of red, gold, and silver glitter, all encased in a plastic based resin. To the left of the Guadalupe spoon are two regular spoons done in a similar style; one has the image of the immaculate conception and the other spoon shows Santo Nino de Praga. To the right are two similar spoons with Christ as a young adult in one and Santa Teresa in the other. Unsigned
