DescriptionBy the Calligraphic santero. Figure stands on tiled floor lacking perspective. Wide border has leaf and stem design; upper background has finely cross hatched swag and all trees below. Flowering rod of Joseph is topped by a large single flower (hollyhock). Bare feet of Joseph are wrapped in (buskins?) to instep and drawn as if set on edge.
