DescriptionShadow puppet of horse and "buggy"; originally one of one hundred-thirty pieces in a collection of Chinese shadow Theater figures and props in leather as follows: 16 set pieces, 1 man in clouds; 18 figures; 95 heads, 1 book by Nancy Berliner. Each small thin piece of intricately carved leather with pierce-work filigree and painted details, the collection comprising: eighteen figures, ninety-five single heads (some with attached feathers), a single figure of deity in clouds and sixteen set pieces.
