DescriptionA round arch with a square base is decorated with roses. Inside there is a central Crucifix with a bleeding Christ figure. On his left is a male figure (a priest or a king), bareheaded with a book in hand. On the right there is a female (Mary Magdalene or a queen). On either side of these two figures are brick flower pots and above them are gold stars and a blue sky. Below this is a violent scene of battle showing St. Michael (or St. George) slaying the devil. Men with hands in prayer (for resurrection) float in the bloody, groundless world of the battle. Above the Christ figure is a wreath. On the exterior of the arch are two golden flames and a central golden cross; wire reinforced clay and paint; hand molded and painted. B: Cross
