DescriptionSquare embroidered cover, design of male figures, birds, and dogs interspersed with flowers, large red blossoms decorated with gold threads along edges, machine guard borders and tassels; colors are natural white,red, blue, yellow,green; made of silk floss embroidered on linen. Embroidered Panel from Macedonia (?), Island of Epirote (?), or Ionia; 19th Century, from Mary K. Invoice #1998, 1986. Excellent condition, one piece with tassels at four corners. Mounted on silk, no box.
