DescriptionTen women, some with children, stand in a row. Their heads are almost square in shape, and they have faint smiles. Their hands express various attitudes of waving, holding (children) or are composed (in prayer?). Their garments are simple, striped in wavy verticals of light and dark. Along each edge is an embroidered text, and outside of this there is a row of Greek crosses; colors are tan, brick, brown; made of cotton or wool embroidery on a cotton (?) ground.
