DescriptionWoven mat of reed and basswood fiber. Reed is in its natural color with purple patterns made with vegetal dyes. From an Ojibwa family - used for wrapping a religious carving, related to the Mide cult. Would be rolled, not folded. 3/6/86 Framed by Art Services.
